Sportwerk is a brand new, state of the art soccer-specific training facility that provides an all-inclusive campus for elite level players aspiring to play at the highest level of German soccer.
Sportwerk players will have full access to professional-grade training facilities, first class living accommodations, and highly qualified coaches and trainers. Located in the heart of German soccer, Sportwerk players will be able to compete with the best teams Germany has to offer.
Players come here to achieve their individual peak performance. Only a few Bundesliga clubs offer a similar level of coordinative and cognitive training technology, allowing athletic and tactical-technical skills to be improved.
The SpeedLab, the interactive training ground at SportWerk, provides the ultimate in sports science player development.
Its SpeedCourt is equipped with sensors controlled by software, allowing targeted speed, reaction, or bounce training for individual players as well as for the team. On a screen, fields with numbers light up alternately, and the coordinated floor displays numbers — players must land on the corresponding numbers with their feet — with increasing accuracy and speed.
GlobalSpeed measurement and training systems are based on scientific principles for the sustainable promotion of cognitive and motor performance factors: reaction, agility, perception, visual speed, and many more.
Imagine immersing yourself in a 360° environment with 32 panels arranged circularly.
A high-performance computer and six Full HD video projectors enable real-time rendered 3D content. This is real-life game simulation and the opportunity to practice scoring from every angle. Players can choose from a variety of game modes to either compete with themselves, or in a multiplayer direct duel.
Speed of action, ball control, pass precision, shoulder vision, cognitive flexibility, anticipation, and decision making are all tracked and scored.
Cognitive skills are trained and improved with the combination of physical and cognitive stress creating optimal soccer-specific conditions.
Accommodation
Even if you call a soccer field your "home", sleep and recovery is just as important for athletes! The modern apartment housing facilities offer two double-bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen.
Amenities
Daily washing of training kits will be provided plus weekly washing of personal clothing, so you can focus on your athletic development.
For relaxation, you can find a TV, game consoles, ping pong, and darts in the Players' lounge. High speed WIFI is available throughout the campus as well.
Nutrition
Your body is your capital/an asset - healthy nutrition is extremely important for your progress. Three meals per day will give you the energy to succeed.
