We Scout for Germany. Hamburg and Our Elite Group.
The Scouting Days are open to every player. At the same time they are how we find players for our programs in Germany and for our Elite Soccer Talent Group. Scouting for programs in Germany is only for talents: we look at technique, game understanding and, above all, mentality.
Programs in Hamburg, Germany
For players who want to train in Germany: partner clubs, a German training environment and an honest picture of their level.
Elite Soccer Talent Group
A small group of players with talent, ambition and the right mentality. Members are scouted continuously and get a development plan tailored to them.
Two Sessions. Different Drills.
Three hours, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Our scouts watch every player in both sessions.
Technique and drills
Drills and activities that show the basics: first touch, dribbling, passing, shooting, coordination and speed.
Game situations
Different activities with 1 v 1, small-sided games, finishing, pressing and transitions. Here we see decisions, teamwork and how a player reacts under pressure.
A Real Scouting Form. Not Just a Handshake.
We evaluate every player with a sheet of observations based on the scouting form of the German FA (DFB). Each point is rated from 0 to 10.
Technical ability
Ball control and first touch, dribbling, passing and combinations, heading, shooting technique, tackling, set pieces.
Attacking ability
1 v 1 attacking, finishing, determination, runs off the ball, vision and positioning, fast transition to attack, creativity.
Defending ability
1 v 1 defending, fast transition to defense, securing space and pressing, aggressiveness and duels, anticipation.
Personality
Self-confidence, social behavior and communication, strong will and motivation, concentration, emotional stability and resilience.
Fitness and coordination
Athleticism, pace, flexibility and stability, stamina, jumping power and coordination.
Conclusion
A written recommendation for the next step, plus notes on strengths and weaknesses.
If you wish, we go through the detailed evaluation with you and your player in a Zoom meeting two weeks after the Scouting Day.
